Day 1:
Welcome to Egypt. In your Nile Cruise Deal first, you will be met and assisted at Cairo International Airport by our Representative transfer you to your Hotel , Check inn and overnight at hotel in Cairo.
Day 2:
Breakfast at Hotel, picked up by your Guide start day to visit Pyramids in Giza Area, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx at the Valley Temple facing the great statue. Lunch will be served at a good quality local restaurant, then moving on to enjoy the Egyptian Antiquities Museum which hosts the treasure room of the boy king Tutankhamun. Also, there is the Mummification room to explore (at the additional charge)Then on to the area of Islamic Cairo to explore Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Cairo`s old bazaar where you have the opportunity to buy those lovely handcrafted souvenirs before driving back to your Hotel, overnight in Cairo. Day 3:
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport (Domestic Terminal) to catch your flight to Aswan. On arrival in Aswan, you will be met, assisted and transferred to your Nile Cruise boat for embarkation. After lunch, Start your tour to visit High Dam, built in the 1960's to provide the much-needed electricity and irrigation for the country. Then you will go to view the 'Unfinished Obelisk' which still lies in the granite quarries which provided ancient Egypt with building materials. Day 4:
Today you will start your Nile Cruise Deal with a lovely sail along the tranquil Nile witnessing the local life and green delta river banks unchanged for centuries. Enjoy breakfast onboard before arriving at Kom Ombo to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo with your Guide. The Temple is the only ancient Temple in Egypt divided into two, reflecting its dedication to two Gods: Sobek, the Crocodile God of fertility; and the falcon-headed Horus, God of the sky. Kom Ombo is also famous for the depictions of surgeon's instruments, giving us an early record of medicine and surgery in Ancient Egypt.
After lunch and afternoon tea your Nile Cruise Holiday deal will take you onboard whilst sailing, you will then arrive at Edfu, home to the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus, the most complete and best preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin-towered entrance gate; and inside, one of the interesting inscriptions lists the titles of books (scrolls) held in the library. Day 5:
After an early breakfast onboard, your Tour Guide will accompany you to the East Bank of Luxor to explore the impressive Karnak Temple, the world's largest ancient religious site.
