Itinerary

Day 1:
You will be met and assisted upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport , check-in and a free welcome drink. There you will be introduced to your Tour Leader for your private Cairo and Luxor Tour, who will explain what to expect on your ancient Egypt tour. Your Tour Leader will be your point of contact throughout Cairo and Luxor trip, and will give you details of how to contact him at any time whilst in Egypt. Throughout your Cairo and Luxor Tour, in addition to the Tour Leader you will meet a variety of English-speaking Tour Guides, who have been chosen for their expertise on each of the areas you are visiting. After check-in you are free to spend the rest of the day/evening at your leisure. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2:
Breakfast at your Hotel in Cairo, then your Tour Guide will accompany you to the famous Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus and Sphinx. You will then transfer to the what is known as the Valley Temple facing the great statue. Lunch will be served in a quality local restaurant in Cairo. Later your Guide will accompany you to visit the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, known to be the first and original simpler styled Pyramid in the World. Then you will be transferred back to your Hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 3:
Breakfast in your hotel in Cairo. Leisurely free time in Cairo followed by a tour to the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiquities that was built in neo-classical style designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon which exhibits a collection now over 120000 masterpieces ranges from pre-dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman period in Egypt. Then you will be move on to visit the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo including some of the early religious monuments of the city such as the Hanging Church or the Suspended Church, this basilica church was named for its location on top of the south gate of the Fortress of Babylon the church became the center of the Christian Church of Egypt. Afterwards enjoy an afternoon of shopping at the Khan El Khalili famous Bazaar and old market in Cairo and barter for some local hand made treasures. Return to the Hotel with the rest of the day at leisure and overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 4:
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport Domestic terminal for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, you will proceed to East Bank where you will visit Karnak Temple, the world's largest ancient religious site. The hypostyle hall with its colossal granite columns is one of Egypt's infamous landmarks, then moving to Luxor Temple which was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and festivals that was dedicated to the Gods. Lunch is included in this tour. After your Tour you will be transferred to check in at hotel in Luxor for a few hours relaxation. In the evening your Guide will take you to see the spectacular Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple. Overnight in Luxor at your Hotel.

Day 5:
After breakfast at your Hotel, your Tour Guide will collect you to discover the West Bank of Luxor, site of the most famous archeological digs in history, the Valley of the Kings. Visit the impressive colonnaded and terraced Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri, which was built into a high cliff face and has graphics telling the story of Hatshepsut's expeditions to the mysterious land of Punt. Then you go to the Valley of the Kings to see a selection of the beautifully decorated rock-cut tombs, many of which still display vibrant colour and breathtaking detail of deities and scenes from the Book of the Underworld. The most visited tombs have walkways and electric lighting, and the internal walls are protected by glass. ( the 3 tombs you will visit are determined by the Government due to protecting the area and footpaths around and within the tombs). Passing by the huge twin statues known as the Colossi of Memnon for about 15 minutes. Also included is the Medinet Habu Temple. An 18th Dynasty,Temple to Amun built here by Hatshepsut and Thutmose III. Ramesses III, the last great warrior pharaoh of the New Kingdom. Return to your Hotel with free leisure time in the evening. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 6:
Breakfast at your Hotel in Luxor, then you will be transferred back to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo International Airport for your flight home.
